Who are your influences:
Most of my
influences date back to before I started playing guitar, like Mark
Knophler (Dire Straits,) David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) and Brian May
(Queen.) The feeling they manage to bring across in their notes has
been of great subconcious influence on my playing, so I’ve found out
recently, when listening to the old 80’s stuff again. More concious
influences: Michael Amott (in the ol’ Carcass days,) Danny Cavanagh
(Anathema,) Erik Rutan (his work in Morbid Angel,) Allan Holdsworth
and my mentors John Stevens and Michiel
Hollanders.
Other
bands:
Cantara, Icon Collective,
Seizure
Previous
bands:
Aeolian, God Dethroned
Sessions:
Fish (ex-Marillion),
Obtuse, Salacious Gods
Best gig ever:
I guess one where
everything really came together near perfection was Oosterpoort,
Groningen on April 17 2005 on our tour with Within Temptation. Great
atmosphere, awesome crowd reactions and a stellar show by both
Autumn collective as well as most individual members.
Great!
